About me
cat ~/about.txt
// BSUIR student, specializing in backend and systems programming
Hi! My name is Yuriy, I'm 18. I study at the BSUIR, majoring in Software Engineering, and work on backend and system projects on the side.
Core stack — C++17/20 for high-performance tasks, Kotlin for backend services, and Python with FastAPI for REST APIs. I love figuring out how things work under the hood — from allocations to cache lines.
I value performance, clean architecture, and modularity. I have a broad technical background and know several programming languages, which helps me find optimal solutions for various tasks.

Experience
cat ~/work_history.log
Developing backend services and REST APIs for pet projects and custom tasks. Core stack — Kotlin (Spring Boot / Ktor) and Python (FastAPI).
- Designing REST APIs on FastAPI with asynchronous request processing, validation via Pydantic, and auto-documentation via Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Writing backend modules in Kotlin using coroutines and Spring Boot for microservice architecture.
- Working with PostgreSQL and Redis, setting up migrations via Alembic / Flyway.
- Test coverage using pytest and JUnit5, test integration in CI via GitHub Actions.
- Containerization of services in Docker, deployment via docker-compose on VPS.
Developing high-performance C++17/20 applications from scratch, focusing on modularity, performance, and graphics.
- Designed system architecture in C++17/20, ensuring high performance and code modularity.
- Integrated graphics APIs (OpenGL, GLAD, GLFW) for data visualization and object rendering.
- Optimized memory management using RAII and smart pointers — eliminated memory leaks.
- Implemented and profiled sorting algorithms for fast route building.
- Configured builds via CMake and version control in Git/GitHub.
Projects
ls ~/projects/
Pet project: a system for visualizing and planning urban transport routes with a focus on performance and graphics.
- Dynamic update of traffic scenes in real time.
- Rendering objects and visualizing routes via OpenGL.
- Optimized data structures for fast graph building.
- Eliminated memory leaks thanks to RAII and smart pointers.
Backend services with authorization (JWT), input validation, Redis caching, and containerization.
- Asynchronous request processing on FastAPI.
- Microservices on Kotlin + Spring Boot with coroutines.
- CI/CD via GitHub Actions, deployment in Docker.
Various educational and experimental projects: algorithms, data structures, working with systems programming on Linux.
